the performance standards found in Section 9.03.06 (Site Plan Review), Subdivision 4 <br />(Standards) to the more appropriate location in Section 9.11.20 (Non-residential Performance <br />Standards). Therefore, the Planning Commission considered the adoption of an ordinance to <br />amend Sections 9.03.06 and 9.11.20 of Ramsey City Code at the Planning Commission meeting. <br />on January 5, 1999. The City Council introduced the ordinance on January 26, 1999. The City <br />Council then suggested two changes to the ordinance at their meeting on February 9, 1999. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Wivoda, seconded by Commissioner Nixt, to close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Wivoda, Nixt, Dempsey, <br />Jensen, Johnson, and Kociscak. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 9:31 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson called the regular meeting of the Planning Commission back to order at <br />9:31 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Jensen questioned on page 83 under Wastes if the city puts a limit on the quantity <br />of solid waste that can be stored. Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that under local ordinance <br />there are no restrictions on the amount of general waste that can be stored; the PCA would <br />monitor hazardous waste. <br /> <br />Commissioner Jensen questioned on page 83, under Landscaping, if an adjacent homeowner <br />would have any say on what kind of landscaping would be placed along the common property <br />line with a non-residential use. Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the landscaping plan <br />would have to get approval of the Planning Commission and City Council, but would not require <br />a public hearing. Commissioner Jensen stated that an adjacent homeowner should be able to <br />express their opinion on the landscaping and suggesting researching how this could be <br />accomplished. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Anderson, seconded by Commissioner Wivoda, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt an Ordinance to amend Sections 9.03.06 (Site Plan Review) and 9.11.20 (Non- <br />Residential Performance Standards) of the City Code. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Wivoda, Dempsey, <br />Jensen, Johnson, Kociscak, and Nixt.
