Utilities Maintenance Worker - Full -Time Salary: $27.18 - $33.98 Hourly Closing Date: October 29, 2023, 11:59 pm Primary Objective of Position: To provide general and skilled maintenance of public water and sewer utilities. This includes annual maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, building and grounds maintenance in and around utility structures and equipment and responding to utility emergencies as necessary. This position will also be involved in snow plowing of public streets, trails and walks. The Utilities Maintenance Worker is required to be a member of the on -call team and work a rotating on -call schedule 7-8 weeks throughout the year. Members of the on -call team must reside within approximately 30 minutes from the Public Works Facility (14199 Jasper Street NW) and be available to respond during evenings, weekends and holidays. The position reports to the Utilities Supervisor. Rink Attendant - Temporary Seasonal Salary: $13.00 - $14.5 0 Hourly Closing Date: November 7, 2023, 11:59 pm Primary Objective of Position: To maintain the warming houses during the skating season through responsible, safety - minded work as a part-time temporary Ice Rink Attendant at Central Park and Ramsey Elementary School. Weather permitting, the warming houses are expected to open Friday, December 15, 2023 and will remain open for approximately ten (10) weeks. The warming houses are typically open from 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm on weekdays, from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm on Saturdays, and from 12:00 pm (noon) to 8:00 pm on Sundays. During the holidays when schools are on winter break, the rinks will be open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm on the weekdays, depending on weather conditions. 11;;41 HIRING! Awesome employees SCAN ME J City of #1,< RAMSEY Building Maintenance Worker - Full -Time Salary: $22.70 - $24.97 Hourly Closing Date: November 5, 2023, 11:59 pm Primary Objective of Position: To assist in maintaining City facilities including, but not limited to buildings, offices, meeting rooms, HVAC equipment and grounds of the Ramsey Municipal Center, both Fire Stations, City Parks, Public Works facility and the Municipal Parking Facility. The position reports to the Building Maintenance Supervisor. This is an AFSCME Union position working 40 hours a week; Monday through Thursday 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm and Friday 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. Firefighters - Paid On -call Salary: $13.65 - $17.70 Hourly Closing Date: November 7, 2023, 11:59 pm Primary Objective of Position: To respond to a variety of emergency and non -emergency events under the general supervision of an officer and are expected to function effectively as part of a highly trained team. They perform duties in the following general categories: fire suppression, emergency medical aid or rescue, hazardous material responses, water and ice rescue. Paid On -call Firefighters also are required to attend regularly scheduled training in order to maintain the high level of knowledge, skill and ability necessary to function safely and effectively as a firefighter and EMS provider in accordance with state law and standard operating procedures. The City of Ramsey is recruiting for Station #1 (15050 Armstrong Boulevard in Ramsey) and Station #2 (5650 Alpine Drive NW in Ramsey). Paid On -call Firefighters must meet response time requirements from the station that they are assigned. All formal (required) training will be provided and paid for by the City. No previous experience is necessary. New Firefighters will attend the Anoka County Fire Academy starting in March of 2024 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
