Community <br />Development Assistant Walther stated staff is in the process of drafting amendments for the Site <br />Plan Review Ordinance and indicated it would require a public heating. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS/PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Exceed Accessory Structure Space <br />Limits and Single Building Size Restrictions; Case of Jeffrey Sigler <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 7:36 <br />p.m. in order to conduct the public heating. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Chairman Anderson called the public heating to order at 7:36 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik explained the City received an application from Jeffrey Sigler for a <br />conditional use permit to exceed the total amount of accessory building space and the single <br />building size restrictions on his property at 17151 Baugh Street NW. Mr. Sigler is proposing to <br />construct a 5,100 square foot indoor tiding arena. His property is 10 acres in size and City Code <br />allows a total of 5,264 square feet of garage and accessory building space on the property; and no <br />single building should exceed 4,400 square feet in size. He currently has a 1,104 square foot <br />attached garage and a 1,200 square foot stable, for a total of 2,304 square feet of accessory <br />building space. This leaves him with a remaining accessory structure allotment of 2,960 square <br />feet.
