Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION#23-258 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT NO. 2 TO LANDALL SERVICES, LLC. OF ZIMMERMAN, MINNESOTA FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #23-10; WHISPERING PINES ESTATES PLAT 3 STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Whispering Pines Estates Plat 3 subdivision; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-251, adopted November 7th, 2022, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk, Inc., for topographic survey of the project area; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-251, adopted November 7th1 2022, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Haugo Geotechnical Services for a geotechnical report of the project area; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-289, adopted December 13, 2022, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said improvements; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution #23-146, adopted June 27, 2023 the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized advertisement for bid for said improvements; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-170, adopted on July 25, 2023, a contract was awarded to Landall Services, LLC of Zimmerman, Minnesota, in the amount of$533,248.00 for construction of said improvements; and WHEREAS, as of October 24, 2023 $150,414.69 has been paid to date; and WHEREAS, the Senior Engineering Technician has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment No. 2 to Landall Services, LLC of Zimmerman, Minnesota, for improvement project #23-10, Whispering Pines Estates Plat 3 Street Reconstructions, in the amount of$378,451.50. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The City Council hereby authorizes partial payment No. 2 to Landall Services, LLC, of Zimmerman, Minnesota for Improvement Project#23-10, Whispering Pines Estates Plat 3 Street Reconstructions in the amount of$378,451.50.
