Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#23-260 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO MEYER CONTRACTING,INC., <br /> OF MAPLE GROVE, MINNESOTA FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #23-11; LIFT <br /> STATION #10 IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-010, adopted January 11, <br /> 2022, the City Council approved the Preliminary Plat for the Trott Brook Crossing residential <br /> subdivision; and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution#22-252, adopted November 7, <br /> 2022, the City Council approved a Grading Agreement for the Trott Brook Crossing residential <br /> subdivision, allowing grading activities for the first phase of construction to begin; and <br /> WHEREAS, on March 28, 2023, the City Council approved the Final Plat and <br /> Development Agreement for Trott Brook Crossing; and <br /> WHEREAS, Bolton and Menk, Inc. prepared final plans and specifications for <br /> Improvement Project #23-11 to allow the City to serve the Trott Brook Crossing residential <br /> subdivision with the necessary municipal trunk sanitary sewer in 2023 as required to meet the <br /> proposed development schedule; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-094, adopted April 25, <br /> 2023, the City Council approved the plans and specifications prepared by Bolton and Menk, Inc. <br /> and authorized advertisements for bids for said improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-131, adopted June 13, <br /> 2023, a contract was awarded to Meyer Contracting Inc. of Maple Grove,Minnesota in the amount <br /> of$11461,454.93 for said improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, as of October 24, 2023 $110021197.5 8 has been paid to date; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Senior Engineering Technician has inspected the completed work and <br /> recommends partial payment No. 3 to Meyer Contracting, Inc. of Maple Grove, Minnesota, for <br /> improvement proj ect#23-11, Lift Station#10 Improvements, in the amount of$125,221.04. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) The City Council hereby authorizes partial payment No. 3 to Meyer Contracting, Inc., of <br /> Maple Grove, Minnesota for Improvement Proj ect#23-11, Lift Station#10 Improvements <br />
