Councilmember Specht introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #23-269 <br /> RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE PAY SCALES FOR <br /> TEMPORARY ON-CALL SNOW PLOW DRIVERS <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council wishes to have an adjusted pay scale for Temporary On-call <br /> Snow Plow Drivers; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is recommended the new pay scales for Temporary On-call Snow Plow <br /> Drivers be set at $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications; and <br /> WHEREAS, the 2024 preliminary budget accounts for the above-mentioned pay scale <br /> based on an average pay of$20.00 per hour which is in-line with the actual proposed wages for <br /> the soon to be hired 2023 /2024 drivers. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) Motion to adopt resolution#23-269 to increase the Temporary On-call Snow Plow Driver <br /> pay scale to $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember...., <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br /> the 24th day of October, 2023. <br /> Mayor <br />
