CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Topic Report: Ramsey Office Plaza Drive <br />-Thru <br />By: Patrick Trudgeon, AICP, Community <br />Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Deal, developer of the Ramsey Office Plaza building currently under construction in the <br />Ramsey Town Center, has approached the City with a request to construct a drive-thru for the <br />building. Mr. Deal would like to secure a coffee store tenant and they will not come to the <br />Ramsey Town Center without a drive-thru <br /> <br />The property is zoned TC-1, which expressly prohibits drive-thrus. <br />thrus may be located in the Ramsey Town Center is the TC-2 <br />· conditional use permit for drive-thrus. <br /> <br />The only place that drive- <br />District, which requires a <br /> <br />While Staff is reluctant to allow drive-thrus in the core area of the Ramsey Town Center, they do <br />recognize the market desires for drive-thrus as part of the retail coffee operation.
