ORDINANCE #98-07 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM ON THE REZONING <br />AND SUBDIVIDING OF LAND ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey Ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. PURPOSE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Ordinance #97-07 was adopted on June 10, 1997, which <br />Ordinance is entitled "An Interim Ordinance Establishing a Moratorium on the Rezoning <br />and Subdividing of Land within a Part of the City of Ramsey, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Ordinance #97-07 was amended by City Ordinance #97-18 <br />adopted December 9, 1997, which Ordinance was entitled "An Ordinance Extending the <br />Moratorium on the Rezoning and Subdividing of Land within a Part of the City of <br />Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council (the "City Council") finds that certain <br />property within the City needs to continue to be included within the moratorium as <br />adopted by said Ordinance #97-07 and extended by Ordinance #97~18; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that an extension of the rezoning and <br />subdividing moratorium as to the parcels identified on Schedule "A" attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein is required in order to facilitate completion of the City's <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment and enable the City's Plan Consultants to formulate <br />recommendations, to permit public review and comment and provide time for <br />implementation of proposed changes. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. MORATORIUM EXTENSION. <br /> <br /> City Ordinance #97-07, as amended by Ordinance #97-18, is amended again such <br />that its term is extended of an additional six months from and after July 12, 1998 ONLY <br />as to those parcels of land identified on the attached Schedule "A". <br /> <br />SECTION 3. ORDINANCE #97-07 TO CONTINUE IN EFFECT. <br /> <br /> Except as modified herein, Ordinance #97-07 shall continue to be in force and <br />effect for the term as described above. <br /> <br /> <br />
