<br /> SUBDIVIDING OF LAND ON CERTAIN
<br /> : PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY OF
<br /> RAMSE¥, ANOKA COUN'r~, MINNESOTA.
<br /> The City of Ramsey Ordains:
<br /> i SECTION 1. PURPOSE.
<br /> WHEREAS, City Ordinance #97-07 was
<br /> ; adopted on June 10, 1997, which Ordinance is
<br /> [ entitled "An Interim Ordinance Establishing a
<br /> 'r Moratorium on the RezonJng and Subdividing
<br /> of Land within a Part of the City of Ramsey,
<br /> [· 'Anoka County, Minnesota"; and
<br /> ;.~ WHEREAS, said Ordinance #97-07 was
<br /> ~ :amended by City Ordinance #97-18 adopted
<br /> · ;December 9, 1997, which Ordinance was
<br /> !'entitled "An Ordinance Extending the
<br /> 'Moratorium on the Rezoning and Subdividing
<br /> of Land within a Part of the City of Ramsey,
<br /> Anoka County, Minnesota"; and
<br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council (the
<br /> "City Council") finds that certain property with-
<br /> in the City needs to continue to be included
<br /> within the moratorium as adopted by said
<br /> Ordinance #97-07 and extended by Ordinance
<br /> //97-18; and
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that an
<br /> extension of the rezoning and subdividing
<br /> moratorium as to the parcels identified on
<br /> Schedule "A' attached hereto and incorporated
<br /> herein is required in order to facilitate comple-
<br /> tion of the City's Comprehensive Plan
<br /> Amendment and enable the City's Plan
<br /> · Consultants to formulate recommendations, to
<br /> : permit public review and comment and provide
<br /> time for implementation of proposed changes.

<br /> SECTION 2. MORATORIUM EXTENSION.
<br /> City Ordinance #97.07, as amended by
<br /> Ordinance #97-18, is amended again such that
<br /> its term is extended of an additional six
<br /> months from and after July 12, 1998 ONLY as
<br /> to those parcels of lind identified on the
<br /> attached Schedule "A'.
<br /> SECTION 3. ORDINANCE #97-07 TO
<br /> CONTINUE IN EFFECT.
<br /> Except as modified herein, Ordinance #97-
<br /> 07 shall continue to be in force and effect for
<br /> the term as described above.
<br /> SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE·
<br /> This Ordinance shall take effect upon
<br /> adoption and thirty (30) days after publication
<br /> according to law, subject to Charter Provision,
<br /> Section 5.04.
