Galvanized finishes shall not be permitted. <br /> <br />SUMMARY <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #99-05 has been approved by the City Council of <br />the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br /> <br />It is the intent and effect of Ordinance #99-05 to amend Ramsey City Code Chapter 9 (Zoning <br />and Subdivision of Land), Section 9.02 (Definitions) and Section 9.11.02 (Accessory Uses), <br />Subdivisions 3 through 12, to amend the regulations for accessory structures to: <br /> <br /> Redefine primary residential garages. <br />· Require a portion of accessory building space allowed to be utilized for a primary garage and <br /> establish minimum and maximum size limits on primary garages. <br />· Change all references to "accessory structures" to "accessory buildings". <br />· Changes references to rural and urban districts to property in or out of the Metropolitan <br /> Urban Service District. <br />· Clarify that primary garages are considered accessory buildings. <br />· Eliminate the single building size restriction. <br />· Establish maximum numbers of accessory building allowed on parcels. <br />· Extend the requirement for soffit, fascia and eave overhang on metal accessory buildings <br /> from parcels 2 to 5 acres in size to parcels from 2 to 5.59 acres in size. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />The effective date of this ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and publication, subject to <br />City Charter Section 5.07. <br /> <br /> <br />
