<br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF
<br />CERTAIN CITY OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED IN
<br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY
<br /> The City of Ramsey Ordains:
<br />SECTION 1. PURPOSE
<br /> It is the purpose of this Ordinance to autho-
<br />rize the City to sell certain real property which
<br />property the City Council has determined is no
<br />longer necessary for the City's purposes. This
<br />chapter is adopted pursuant to and under the
<br />authority of Section 12.05 of the City Charter.
<br />SECTION 2. SALE AUTHORIZATION
<br /> The City Council hereby declares the follow-
<br />ing legally described real property owned by the
<br />City, as surplus property and hereby authorizes
<br />sale of all or a part of said property. Said prop-
<br />erty is legally described as follows:
<br /> That part of the East Half of the North-
<br /> west Quarter of Section 25, Township
<br /> 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minne-
<br /> sota, described as Commencing at a
<br /> point on the Centerline of State Trunk
<br /> Highway No. 47, formerly known as the
<br /> Anoka and St. Francis Road, as the same
<br /> extends through said East Half of the
<br /> Northwest Quarter in a northerly and
<br /> southerly direction, which point is 1083
<br /> feet north of the South line of said East
<br /> half of the Northwest Quarter as
<br /> measured along said centerline; thence
<br /> South 89 degrees 21 minutes 46
<br /> seconds West parallel with the South
<br /> line of said East Half of the I~orthwest
<br /> Quarter for 888.64 feet to intersect with
<br /> the West line of said East Half of the
<br /> Northwest Quarter, said point of inter-
<br /> section being a distance of 1065.24 feet
<br /> north of the Southwest corner of said
<br /> East Half of the Northwest Quarter;
<br /> thence return North 89 degrees 21
<br /> minutes 46 seconds East, assumed basis
<br /> of bearings, along said parallel line for
<br /> 471.45 feet to the actual Point of
<br /> Beginning of the land here described;
<br /> thence South 0 degrees 38 minutes 14
<br /> seconds East for 266.00 feet; thence
<br /> North 89 degrees 21 minutes 46
<br /> seconds East parallel with said South
<br /> line of the East Half of the northwest
<br /> Quarter for 469.83 feet, more or less, to
<br /> intersect said centedine of State Trunk
<br /> Highway No. 47; thence North 11
<br /> degrees 49 minutes 52 seconds West
<br /> along said centerline for 271.16 feet,
<br /> more or less to said point of commence-
<br /> ment; thence South 89 degrees 21
<br /> minutes 46 seconds West parallel with
<br /> said South line of the East Half of the
<br /> Northwest Quarter for 417.19 feet,
<br /> more or less, to said Point of Beginning.
<br />SECTION 3. TERMS OF SALE
<br /> The City~ Council has by a properly enacted
<br />resolution determined the consideration and
<br />terms upon which tile above-described property
<br />may be sold.
<br />SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE
<br /> This Ordinance becomes effective upon its
<br />passage and lhirty (30) days after its publication
<br />according Lv law, subject to City Charter
<br />Provision, Section 5.04.
<br /> PASSED by the City C,ouncil of the City of
<br />Ramsey, Minnesota, the 9th day of May, 2000.
