PURPOSE <br /> It is the ,purpose of this Ordinance to <br />authorize the City to sell certain real property <br />which property the City Council has deter- <br />mined is no longer necessary for the City's pur- <br />poses. This-chapter is adopted pursuant to and <br />under the authority of Section 12.05 of the <br />C!ty Charter. <br /> SECTION 2. SALE AUTHORIZATION <br /> · The City Council hereby declares the fol- <br />lowing legally described real property owned <br />· by the City, as surplus property and hereby <br />authorizes sale of all or a part of said property. <br />Said property is legally described as follows: <br /> That part of Outlot A, FERRUM SEC- <br /> OND ADDITION, according to the duly <br /> recorded plat thereof, lying westedy of <br /> the following described line: <br /> Commencing at the southwest corner <br /> of said Outlot A; thence North O0 <br /> degrees .55 minutes 2'1 seconds West <br /> along the West line of said Outlot A; a <br /> distance of 111.01 feet to the point of <br /> ' beginning; thence northerly along a <br /> non-tangential curve concave to the <br /> west, having a radius of 712.00 feet <br /> and a central angle of 12 degrees 10 <br /> minutes 13 seconds, a distance of <br /> 151.24 feet. The chord of said curve <br /> bears North 05 degrees 09 minutes 45 <br /> se(~onds East; thence North 00 degrees <br /> 55 minutes 21 seconds West, tangent , <br /> to said curve, a distance of 306.26 feet <br /> to North line of said Outlot A, and <br /> there terminating. <br /> SECTION 3, TERMS OF SALE <br /> The City Council has by a properly enacted <br />resolution determined the consideration and <br />terms upon Which the above-described prop- <br />erty may be sold. <br /> SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> This Ordinance becomes effective upon its <br />passage and thirty (30) days after its publica- <br />tion according to law, subject to City Charter <br />Provision, Section 5.04. <br /> PASSED by the City Council of the City of <br />Ramsey, Minnesota, the 19th day of <br />December, 2000. <br />Thomas G.
