<br />    AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE
<br />SALE OF CERTAIN CITY OWNED PROPER-
<br />TY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY..
<br />The City of Ramsey ordains:
<br />SECTION 1. PURPOSE
<br />    It is the purpose of this Ordinance to
<br />authorize the City to sell certain real
<br />property which property the City Council
<br />has determined is no longer necessary for
<br />the City's purposes. This chapter is
<br />adopted pursuant to and under the
<br />authority of Section 12.05 of the City
<br />Charter.
<br />SECTION 2. SALE AUTHORIZATION
<br />    The City Council hereby declares the
<br />following legally described real property
<br />owned by the City, as surplu~ property
<br />and hereby authorizes its sale. Said prop-
<br />erty is legally described as follow, s:
<br />    That part of the East Half of the
<br />Northwest Quarter of Section 25,
<br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka' County,
<br />Minnesota, lying westerly of the center-
<br />line of State Trunk Highway No. 47 and
<br />northerly of "Line A" and its extensions
<br />described as follows:
<br />  Commencing at a point on the
<br />  centerline of above said State
<br />  Highway No. 47 distant 1083.00
<br />  feet north of the south line of said
<br />  East Half of the Northwest
<br />  Quarter as measured along said
<br />  centerline; thence westerly paral-
<br />  lel with said south line of the East
<br />  Half of the Northwest Quarter to
<br />  the intersection with the west line
<br />  of said East Half of the Northwest
<br />  Quarter; thence northerly along
<br />  said west line a distance of
<br />  757.00 feet to the actual point of
<br />  beginning of said "Line A";
<br />  thence easterly parallel with the
<br />  south line of said East Half of the
<br />  Northwest Quarter to the center-
<br />  line of said State Highway No. 47
<br />  and said line there terminating.
<br />  AND
<br />  That part of said East Half of the'
<br />  Northwest Quarter which lies
<br />  southerly of the above described
<br />  "Line A" and northerly of a line
<br />  described as follows:
<br />  Beginning at the southeast cor-
<br />  ner of Lot 11, Block 1, SUNNY
<br />  PONDS 2nd ADDITION, Anoka
<br />  County, Minnesota according to
<br />  the recorded plat thereof, thence
<br />  North 89 degrees 23 minutes 46
<br />  seconds East assumed bearing,
<br />  along the easterly extension of
<br />  the south line of said Lot 11, a
<br />  distance of 19.74 feet; thence
<br />  northeasterly along a tangential
<br />  curve, concave to the northwest,
<br />  having a radius of 2S5.28 feet; a
<br />  central angle of 42 degrees 13
<br />  minutes 04 seconds, a distance of
<br />  188.10 feet more or less to the
<br />  intersection with the above said '
<br />  "Line A" and said line there ter-
<br />  minating.
<br />SECTION 3. TERMS OF SALE
<br />    The City Council has by a properly
<br />enacted resolution determined the con-
<br />sideration and terms upon which the
<br />above described property may be sold.
<br />SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE
<br />    This ordinance becomes effective
<br />upon its passage and thirty (30) days
<br />after its publication according to law,
<br />subject to City Charter Provision, Section
<br />5.04.
<br />    PASSED by the City Council of the
<br />City of Ramsey, Minnesota, the 11th day
<br />of September 2001.
