executive committee, or other similar <br /> body chosen by the members at a <br /> meeting held for that purpose. No <br /> member, officer, agent, or employee <br /> shall receive any profit from the <br /> distribution or sale of beverages to <br /> the members of the club, or their <br /> guests, beyond a reasonable salary or <br /> wages fixed and voted each year by the <br /> governing body. <br />4. City. <br /> "City" is the City of Ramsey, Anoka <br /> County, State of Minnesota. <br />5. City Council. <br /> "City Council" is the City Council of the <br /> City of Ramsey, Minnesota and is also <br /> referred to as "Council". <br />6. Hotel. <br /> "Hotel" is any establishment which has a <br /> market value, including land, building, <br /> and fixtures, of at least $200,000 as <br /> appraised by the City Assessor and <br /> having a resident proprietor or manager, <br /> where, in consideration of payment <br /> therefore, food and lodging are regularly <br /> furnished to transients, which maintains <br /> for the use of its guests not less than <br /> fifty (50) guest rooms with bedding and <br /> other usual, suitable, and necessary <br /> furnishings in each room, which <br /> provides at the main entrance a suitable <br /> lobby, desk, and office for the <br /> registration of its guests on the ground <br /> floor, which employs an adequate staff to <br /> provide suitable and usual service, and <br /> which maintains under the same <br /> management and control as the rest of the <br /> establishment and has, as an integral <br /> part thereof, a restaurant. <br />7. Intoxicating liquor. <br /> "intoxicating liquor" is ethyl alcohol, <br /> distilled, fermented, spirituous, vinous <br /> and malt beverages containing more than <br /> 3.2 percent of alcohol by weight. <br />8. Licer~,sed premises. <br /> "Licensed premises" is the premises <br /> described in the approved license <br /> application. <br />9. Malt liquor. <br /> <br /> "Malt liquor" is any beer, ale, or other <br /> beverage made from malt by <br /> fermentation and containing not less than <br /> one-half of one percent alcohol by <br /> volume. <br />10.Nonintoxicating malt Jiqvor. <br /> "Nonintoxicating malt liquor" is malt <br /> liquor containing not less than one-half <br /> of one percent alcohol by volume nor <br /> more than 3.2 percent alcohol by weight. <br />11 .Off sale. <br /> "Off-sale" is the sale of alcoholic <br /> beverages in original packages for <br /> consumption off the licensed premises <br /> only. <br />12.On sale. <br /> "On-sale" is the sale of alcoholic <br /> beverages for consumption on the <br /> licensed premises only. <br />13.Person. <br /> "Person" has the meaning given it in MS <br /> Section 645.44, Subdivision 7. <br />14.Restaurant. <br /> "Restaurant" is any establishment, other <br /> than a hotel, under the control of a <br /> single proprietor or manager, where <br /> meals are regularly served at tables to <br /> the general public, and having year <br /> around seating capacity for thirty (30) <br /> or more guests, and which has a market <br /> value, including land, building, and <br /> fixtures, of at least $200,000 as <br /> appraised by the City Assessor. <br />15.Retail. <br /> "Retail" is sale for consumption. <br />16.Sale and Sell and <br /> "Sale" and "sell" and "sold" means all <br /> barters and all manners of furnishing <br /> intoxicating liquor, including such <br /> furnishing in violation or evasion of law. <br /> <br />130.054 APPLICATIONS FOR <br /> LICENSE TO BE VERIFIED <br />Every application for an "on sale" license <br />shall be verified and filed with the City <br />Administrator. <br /> <br /> <br />
