"Malt liquor" is any beer, ale, or other beverage made from malt by fermentation and containing not less than one-half of one percent alcohol by volume. 8. New construction. "New construction" is a building or premises which has never before been occupied for any purpose. 9. Non-intoxicating malt liquor. "Nonintoxicating malt liquor" is malt liquor containing not less than one-half of one percent alcohol by volume nor more than 3.2 percent alcohol by weight. 1 0. Off sale. "Off-sale" is the sale of alcoholic beverages in original packages for consumption off the licensed premises only. 1 1. On sale. "On-sale" is the sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the licensed premises only. 1 2. Package, "Package" is a sealed or covered container of alcoholic beverages. 13. Persor~. "Person" has the meaning given it in MS Section 645.44, Subdivision 7. 14. Retail. "Retail" is sale for consumption. 1 5. Sale and Sell and Sold. "Sale" and "sell" and "sold" means all barters and all manners of furnishing intoxicating liquor, including such furnishing in violation or evasion of law. 16. Table or sparklina wine. "Table or sparkling wine" is a beverage made without rectification or fortification and containing not more than 25 percent of alcohol by volume and made by the fermentation of grapes, grape juice or other fruits or honey. 17. Wine. "Wine" is sparkling and carbonated wine, wine made from condensed grape must, wine made from other agricultural products than sound, ripe grapes, imitation wine, compounds sold as wine, vermouth, cider, perry and sake, in each instance containing not less than seven percent nor more than 24 percent alcohol by volume for nonindustrial use. APPLICATIONS FOR LICENSE TO BE VERIFIED Every application for an "on sale" license shall Administrator. be verified and filed with the City CONTENTS OF APPLICATION In addition to information which may be required by the State Lliquor Control Commissioner, the license application shall state: 1. Whether the applicant is a natural person, corporation, partnership or other form of organization. 2. If the applicant is a natural person, the following information shall be furnished: a. The true name, place and date of birth, and street residence address of applicant; b. Whether applicant has ever used or been known by a name other than his true name, and if so, what was such name, or names, and information concerning dates and places where used; c. The name of the business if it is to be conducted under a designation, name or style other than the full individual name of the applicant.
