• • ORDINANCE #02 -04 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA' AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 7 OF THE CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS KNOWN AS THE LICENSING AND PER- MITS CHAPTER OF THE CITY' CODE. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC- } TION 7.13.06 HOLDING OF PROPERTY OF -THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MIN- NESOTA. ' The City of Ramsey ordains: SECTION 1. ORDINANCE SUMMARY FOR PUBLICATION The following is the official summary of Ordinance #02 -04, which has been approved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance: Section 7.13.06, Holding of Property, has been modified to increase the num- ber of days a pawnshop must hold on to items from five (5) days to thirty (30) days. This will allow the Police Department more time to' check reports and more time for citizens to make reports of stolen or missing items. SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE The effective date of this Ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and pub- lication, subject to City Charter Section 5.07.
