<br /> .... · SECTION 1. AMENDMENT.
<br /> ': iSection 170.063 of the Ramsay City Code is
<br /> . amended to read as follows:
<br /> 170.053 CASH PAYMENT
<br /> In lieu of public land dedication for the pur-
<br /> ':' poses of parks, playgrounds, trails and/or open
<br /> space as above described,.the City Council may
<br />"' require the subdivider to contribute ten percent
<br />'r (10%) of the fair market value of lhe un,
<br />~ de;~e,.toped land which value is to be determined
<br /> no later than fi?al plat approval or Five Hundred
<br /> Dollars ($500.00) per dwelling unit created,
<br /> w~i.;hever amount is greater. The cash paymen-
<br /> tS received as a result of this provision siqall be
<br />· pl,~ced in a special fund by the City and used only
<br /> f~r acquisition of land for parks, playgrounds,
<br /> ppbiic open space, trails and storm water
<br /> holding areas or ponds, development of existing
<br /> pal;k~ and playground sites, public open spaces
<br /> and storm water holding areas or ponds and debt
<br /> r~tirement in connection with land previously
<br /> acquired for such public purposes·
<br /> SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE·
<br /> This Ordinance becomes effective upon its
<br /> ps,sage and thirty (30) days after its publication
<br /> according to law, subject to City Charter
<br /> Proqlslons, Section 5.04.
