<br /> AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE
<br /> MORATORIUM TERM OF CITY ORDINAN-
<br /> CES #90-9 AND #90-10
<br /> The City of Rarnsey ordains:
<br /> SECTION 1. PREA/~BLE
<br /> Whereas on April 23, 1990 1he City adopted Or-
<br /> dinance #90-7 as an emergency ordinance which
<br /> ordinance has an effective date of April 24, 1990
<br /> and a term of 180 days from and after April 23,
<br /> 1990; and
<br /> Whereas on May 8, 1990 the City Council adop-
<br /> ted Ordinance 890-8 as a nun-emergency or-
<br /> dinance, which Ordinance #90-8 is lhe identical
<br /> text as Ordinance #90-7 and which Ordinance
<br /> #90-8 was effective June 11, 1990 and shall be et-
<br /> fective for a period oflSg days from and after
<br /> June 11, 1990; and
<br /> Whereas, on /~ay 22, 1990 the City Council
<br /> adopted Ordinance//90-09 which Ordinance was
<br /> adopted as an emergency ordinance, amended
<br /> Ordinance #90-7 and is effective for a period of
<br /> 180 day from and after May 22, 1990; and
<br /> Whereas, on May 22, 1990 the City Council
<br /> adopted Ordinance #90-10 which ordinance was
<br /> adopted as a non,emergency ordinance, has the
<br /> identical text as Ordinance #90-9 was effective
<br /> June 26, 1990 and is effective for a period of 180
<br /> days from and aftek June 26, 1990; and
<br /> Whereas, the City has retained a planner Io
<br /> study the siting of adult enterlainment uses;
<br /> and
<br /> Whereas, the plarmer's work is substantially
<br /> completed, however, not totally completed; and
<br />ereas, in order to adopt, Dy ordinance, the
<br />~.er~s Zoning ordinance amendment recom-
<br />~ti0~,~J, the City Council is required to con-
<br />duct a public hearing on any proposed zoning
<br />code amendments; and
<br /> Whereas, Cily Staff advises the City Council
<br /> that an additional sixty (60) days'is necessary in
<br /> order to review and finally adopt amendments to
<br /> the City's Zoning Code pertains to adult enter-
<br /> tainment uses.
<br /> SECTION 2. ORDINANCE EXTENSION
<br /> The effective period of Ordinances #90-09 and
<br /> #90-10 is extended such that said ordinances sball
<br /> have an effective period through December 21,
<br /> 1990.
<br /> SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE
<br /> This Ordinance becomes effective upon its
<br /> passage and thirty (30) days afte~ its publication
<br /> according to law.
<br /> PASSED by the City Council of the City of
<br /> Ramsay, N~innesota, the 10th day ot September,
<br /> i990.
