STATE FIRE CODE SECTION 10.208 "PROP' i:ERTY IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS, COM' MERCIALt RESIDENTIAL, PRIVATE AND · PUBLIC" BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 8.02. ' TO THE C TY CODEr WHICH SECTION IS [ I~NTITLED "PROPERTY IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS". The City of Ramsay ordains: SECTION 1. CITY CODE AMENDMENT (~ity. Code Section 8.02 is added to the City '. ~ode, which addition shall provide as follows: · 8~02.01 The owner of every residential, com- r mercial or Industrial structure, whether public 16r p'r'ivate, shall place house or building ; numbers, as herein provided, on the struclure. This shall not apply to barns, private garages ' or other similar· ~ccessory buildings or struc7 ! ~uFes used In connection wllh buildings or per- manent structures displaying building numbers. . 8.02.02 Lbcation, Size and Shape: Each number of the street address of a structure shall be attached to the structure and shall be located in a position near the front door of each · structure so as to be clearly visible from the istreet or road and not obstructed by any vegetation or other structures. If the structure , ~s-more than 100 feet from the street or road, a ~ separate post with numbers attached shall be . placed within 30 feet of the street or road identi- fying the number of the structure on the proper- . fy. If the slruclure abuts an alley, building shall be attached in a conspicuous to the alley side of the structure. If a or similar accessory building obstructs the view of the main structure from the alley, the building numbers for the structure shall be placed in a consplcious location on the garage or accessory building.
