full-time service. Temporary employees are not entitled to sick leave, <br />vacation leave, medical reimbursement, or holidays with pay. <br /> <br /> SubeL 3. Non-Exempt employees who have elected to receive <br />compensatory time rather than overtime shall receive compensatory time <br />at a rate of 1-1/2 hours for each hour worked in excess of 40 hours per week <br />as approved by the City Administrator or designated representative. <br />Compensatory time shall be taken as approved by the City Administrator or <br />designated representative. Any employee with banked compensatory time <br />in excess of 40 hours may elect to receive payment for said excess hours, or <br />any part thereof, by making written application to the City Administrator <br />prior to the end of the pay period for the first payday in December. Payment <br />for said compensatory time in excess of 40 hours shall be computed at 100% <br />of the employee's current rate of pay. No employee shall bank <br />compensatory time in excess of 40 hours. Employee terminating <br />employment or any employee terminated shall receive compensation for all <br />banked compensatory time at 100% of employee's rate of pay at the time of <br />termination. <br /> <br /> Subtk 4. Employees shall be paid biweekly. When a pay day <br />falls on a holiday, employees shall receive their pay the preceding work day. <br /> <br /> Subd. 5. No employee shall be permitted to receive from any <br />third party payment for services and labor performed while such employee <br />is working regular hours or while working additional overtime hours. <br /> <br />3.20.06 Work hours.; The regular work week for employees is five 8- <br />hour working days in addition to a lunch period, Monday through Friday, <br />except as otherwise established by the department head in accordance with <br />needs of the department. <br /> <br />3.20.07 Vacation leave with pay. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Every regular employee having less than six <br />years consecutive full-time service shall earn vacation leave at the rate of <br />5/6 working day for each calendar month of full-time service. Each regular <br />employee with at least 6, but less than 12, consecutive years of full-time <br />service shall earn vacation leave at the rate of 1.25 working days for each <br />calendar month of full-time service and each regular employee with at least <br />12 years o£ consecutive full-time service shall earn vacation leave at the rate <br />of 1.666 working days for each calendar month of full-time service. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. An employee's accrued or "banked" vacation leave <br />may not exceed two times the yearly accrual at any point in time. <br /> <br /> Subd. 3. Vacation leave may be used as earned subject to <br />approval by the immediate supervisor prior to the time at which it is taken. <br /> <br /> Subd. 4. Any employee leaving the municipal service in good <br />standing after giving proper notice of such termination of employment <br />shall be compensated for vacation leave banked and unused to the date of <br />separation. <br /> <br /> <br />
