C'~onditions <br /> <br />The con~!~ct { f lawful charitable gambhng under license issued by the Board shall be subject to the <br />follow~co~,difions in the City of Ramsey: <br /> A copy of any lease agreement between a non-profit organization and a gambling <br /> location owner or operator shall be filed with the City Administrator together with <br /> · the gambling license application; <br /> The City Council may refuse to issue a charitable gambling license for a location in <br /> which gambling violations have previously occurred, and the Council may refuse to <br /> issue a charitable gambling license to a non-profit organization which has <br /> ~ previously violated terms of this Ordinance and/or Minnesota Statutes, Chapter <br /> 349. <br /> <br /> e. i i The maximum number of separate gambling locations that any one licensed <br /> i organization shall be penrdtted to operate within the City is three (3). <br />7.61.06~ I~vestigation <br />Every organi.~ation which files an application for issuance or renewal of a charitable gambling <br />license aiiall ~leliver the application to the City Administrator. The City Administrator shall <br />investigOl~- e~h application and report any findings and recommendations to the City Council. <br />7.61.07 F~ling of Records; Inspections; Access to Records <br />Subd. 1, E~very organization licensed to conduct charitable gambling in the City of Ramsey shall <br />, ftt~e with the City Administrator copies of all records and reports required to be filed <br />' w~th the Board pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 349 and the rules and <br /> rqgulations promulgated thereunder. The records and reports shall be filed in the <br /> office of the City Administrator to the Board on or before the day they are required to <br /> be~ filed with the Board; <br /> <br />Subd. 2~ Eyery gambhng event m the C~ty of Ramsey conducted by an orgamzanon under <br /> ~ Mi:nnesota Statutes, Chapter 349 shall be open to inspection by officers of the Ramsey <br /> Pblice Department; <br />Subd. 3. T~e City Administrator or employees of the Police Department, at the direction of the <br /> C!ty Administrator, may inspect at any reasonable time, without notice or search <br /> won:ant, all records of a licensed organization, including gambling account and other <br /> bSnk records required by the Board to be maintained and preserved. <br />7.61.08 F~e <br />The City Will ~Charge all new applicants the maximum investigation fee permitted by Minnesota <br />Statutes,~¢hat~ter 349 in order to cover costs incurred investigating the application. Any unused <br />portion 0flthi,~ fee will he refunded to the applicant. This fee docs not apply to applications for <br />renewal off licenses. <br /> <br />7.61.09, U e of Charitable Gambling Net Profits <br /> <br />Any licenlsed[organization conducting lawful gambling within the City shall be required to <br />contribut~n ~rcent (10%) of its net profits derived from lawful gambling to a fund administered <br />and regui~ed by the City without cost to such fund. Disbursements from this fund shall be for <br />lawful pt~oags as determined from time to time by City Council resolution. The term "net <br />profits a..$,~use~[ hereto shall be that defimt~on assigned to tt by Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 349. <br />This sub~fio~l shalI apply to all licensed organizations conducting lawful gambling with the City. <br /> r .
