do <br /> <br />eo <br /> <br />There shall not be more than one (1) service bay identification sign <br />for each service bay located on the parcel. <br /> <br />The gross surface area of a service bay identification sign will be <br />counted against the maximum allowable sign area for the subject <br />parcel. <br /> <br />A service bay identification sign may be located on the outermost <br />wall of any principal building adjacent to a service bay entrance. <br /> <br />A service bay identification sign shall not project higher than the <br />parapet line of the wall to which the sign is to be affixed. <br /> <br />Service Island Identification Sign. Service island identification signs <br />indicating the type of service offered; the price of gasoline; and other <br />relevant information, within reason, pertaining to the facility; or direction to <br />persons using the facility shall be subject to the following: <br /> <br />The gross surface area of a service island identification sign(s) shall <br />be counted against the maximum allowable sign area for the subject <br />parcel. <br /> <br />Service island signs may be located on the outermost wall of any <br />principal building or at each service or pump island located on the <br />parcel. <br /> <br />Menu Board. One (1) on-site menu board per drive-up or walk-up lane of a <br />drive-in restaurant up to a maximum of thirty-two (32) square feet each. <br />Menu boards are allowed a message on one side only and cannot contain an <br />advertising message. <br /> <br />Directional Signs. <br /> <br />Directional or Instructional signs are permitted in accordance with <br />Section 9.12.03 subd. 9. <br /> <br />Parking lot directional signs designating parking area entrances and <br />exits are limited to one sign for each entrance and/or exit and shall <br />not exceed four square feet for each exposed face. Parking lot <br />directional signs shall not project higher than five (5) feet in height, <br />as measured from the established grade of the parking area to which <br />such signs are accessory. <br /> <br />Parking lot instructional signs designating the conditions of use or <br />identification parking areas shall not exceed 8 square feet and shall <br />not project higher than ten (10) feet in height for wall signs and <br />seven (7) feet in height for ground signs, as measured from the <br />established grade of the parking area(s) to which such signs are <br />accessory. <br /> <br />Window signs are restricted to 30% of the area of the window in <br />which the sign is to be displayed. <br /> <br />Page 10 of 18 <br /> <br /> <br />
