<br /> ?.~,T~[s~.O~.iqanCe~p]rovides for the ~appl!cation,
<br /> admihi'str~ti66, and enforcement of the Minne-
<br /> sota State Building Code by regulating the erec-
<br /> tion, construction, enlargement, alteration,
<br /> repair, moving, removal, ·demolition, conversion,
<br /> occupancy, equipment, use, height, area, and
<br /> maintenance of all buildings a0d/or structures in
<br /> this municipality; provides for the issuance of
<br /> permits and collection of fees thereof;, provides
<br /> penalties for violation thereof; repeals all ordi-
<br /> nances and parts of ordinances that conflict
<br /> therewith.
<br /> The City Of Ramsey Ordains: '
<br /> SECTION 1. APPUCATION, ADMINISTRATION,
<br /> AND ENFORCEMENT
<br /> The application, radministration, and
<br /> enforcement of the code shall be in accordance
<br /> with Minnesota Rules Part 1300.2100 and as
<br /> modified by chapter 1305. The code shall be
<br /> enforced within the extraterritorial limits .permit-
<br /> ted by. Minnes0ta Statute 16B~62, Subd vis on 1,
<br /> when so established by this ordinance.
<br /> The code enforCeme_nt agency Of this munic-
<br /> ipality is called the Building Code DePartmenL
<br /> The Administrative Authority shall be a
<br /> Minnesota Ce/rifled Building Official.
<br /> SECTION 2. PERMITS AND FEES
<br /> The issuance of permits and the collection of
<br /> fees shall be as authorized in Minnesota Statute
<br /> '~: 16B.62 Subdivision !, andas provided for in
<br /> apter 1 of the current Uniform Building Code as
<br />opted by the state of Minnesota and
<br />nnesota Rules parts 1305 0106 and B05.0107,
<br />Permit fees shall be assessed for work gov:
<br />erned by this code in accordance with Table
<br />No(s). 1-A of thi.~ 'ordinance: in addition, a sur-
<br />charge fee shall be collected on all permits
<br />. iss~Jed for work governed by this code in accor-
<br />: dance with Minnesota Statute 16B.70.
<br />SECTION 3. VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES
<br />': A violation of the code is a misdemeanor
<br />(Minnesota Statute 16B.69)~
<br />SECTION 4. BUILDING CODE
<br />· The current Minnesota State Building Code,
<br />established pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
<br />16B.$9 to 1.6B.75, is hereby'ad°pted as thebuild-
<br />ing'.ico-de .for this _j'urisdict!on.. The' following
<br />chapters are he~reby incorporated, in this ordi-
<br />nance as if fully set out herein:
