ZONING AND SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE OF'RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. The City of Ramsey ordains: SECTION 1. ORDINANCE SUMMARY FOR~ PUBLICATION The following is the o~fi¢lal summary of Ordinance #97-09; which has been approved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance: Section 9.20.24 (B-W Business Warehouse District) and Section 9.20.2,5 (Industrial District) are amended to allow for business incubators and multi,tenant facilities and their permitted uses which include the following: manufactur- ing, research labs, testing labs, offices, athletic facilities/fitness centers/dance studios, motor vehicle, implement and recreation equipment sales or repair, governmental or public uses, indoor commercial recreation, light manufactur- in9, radio and television offices and stations, and wholesale businesses, provided they do not require outside storage or outside overnight parking. A maximum of 20% of the units or suites of such a facility may be occupied by enclosed retail and rental activity as a principal use. Enclosed retail and rental activity will be allowed as an accessory ton permitted use in a business incubator or multi-tenant facility pro- vided the retail or rental activity does not py more than 15% of the gross floor area of the occupied unit or suite. A business incubator or multi-tenant facility will be defined as an Indus- trial development consisting of two (2) or more separate uniB or suites sharing a common build- ing and parking area, SECTION 2. ~ The effective date of this Ordinance is, thirty (30) days alter its passage and publication, sub-. ject to.City Charier Section 5.07.
