AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.03.02 OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSES', MINNESOTA. The City of Ramsey ordains: SECTION 1: SUMI~ARY The following official summary of Ordinance //97-09 has been approyed by the City Council of ~he' City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. It is the intent and effect of Ordinanc~ 97-09 to amend Section 2.03.02 of the City Code, Section which is entiUed "Appointment of Members, Terms of Office and Removal." Section 2.03.02 establishes the way members of City boards and commissions are appointed, their terms of office, and how they may be removed from office. Terms of office are cl~anged from two years to four years and a limi- tation of two consecutive four-year terms is established. SECTION 2, EFFECTIVE DATE The effective date of this Ordinance is thir- ty (30) days after its passage and publication, subject to City Char~er Section 2.03.02.
