C~RDINANCE #97-18 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM ON THE REZONING AND SUBDIVIDING OF LAND WITHIN A PART OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA. The City of Ramsey Ordains: SECTION 1. City Ordinance #97-07, adopted June 10, 1997, and entitled "An Interim Ordinance Establishing a Moratorium on the Rezoning and Subdividing of Land Within a Part ol~ the City of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota" is amended by adding Section 7(A) which n 7(A) shall provide as tollows: The City Council finds that an extension of the rezoning and subdividing moratorium for 6 months is required in order to facili- tate completion ol the Comprehensive Plan Amendment involving the moratori- um area, to enable the City's Plan Consultants to formulate recommenda- tions, to permit public review and com- ment and provide time for implementa- tion of proposed changes. In accordance with Minn. Stat. 462.355, Subd, 4, this ordinance shall be extended and be effec- tive for an additional six months, SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE This ordinance shall take effect upon adop- tion and thirty (30) days after publication according to law, subject to Charter Provision, Section 5.04.
