PREAMBLE <br /> On March 12, 1996, the City adopted <br />Ordinance #96-04 which is an ordinance <br />establishing a development assessment fee on <br />~new assessments. <br />~ince the date of the adoption of said <br />~'nance, the Minnesota Supreme Court has <br /> ~"[ed that the type of fee assessed in Ordi* <br /> nance #96-04 is unlawful. <br /> SECTION 2. PURPOSE <br /> Be~:ause of the Minnesota Supreme Court <br /> ruling referenced in Section 1 above, the pur- <br /> pose of this ordi.nance is to repeal Ordinance <br /> #96-04. <br /> SECTION 3. REPEAL <br /> Ordinance #96-04 is hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> The effective date of this Ordinance is thir- <br /> ty (2,0) days after its passage and publication, <br /> subject to City Charter Section .5.07. <br /> PASSED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Ramsey, Minnesota, this the 9th day of <br /> December, 1997. <br /> Thomas G.
