AMENDMENT <br /> 170.014M Residential Structure Sizes <br /> Subd. 1 One Family Structure <br /> One family structures shall have at least three <br /> -(3) habitable rooms, as defined by the State <br /> Building Code, and the overall dimensions shall <br /> contain the following minimum areas including <br />~ foyers and exclusive of garages and be no less <br /> than 22 feet In any nominal dimension: <br /> Rambler without a garage, 912 square feet on <br /> the main living floor <br /> Split level without a garage, 912 square feet on <br /> the main living floor <br /> Full two story with or Without a garage ex- <br /> clusive of lofts, balconies'end any other similar <br /> construction, 720 square feet per floor <br /> Rambler or split level with an attached or <br /> detached 440 square loot garage, 768 square feet <br /> on the main living floor <br /> Subd. 2 Two Owelllng Unit Struclure <br /> Two dwelt, lng unit structures shai~ have at <br /> .least three (3) habilable rooms, as defined by the <br /> State Building'Code/per family and the overall <br /> dimensions'shat! contain not less than 720 square <br /> feet on the main riving floor, per family inclu01ng <br /> foyers and exc, luslye of garages. Where a two <br />~llll~,,lling structure Is Constructed with a zero (0) <br />lot. line, the overall dimensions of the at- <br />tached/detached garag.e shah not contain less <br />than 440 square feet per unit. <br /> Subd. 3 Three or More Dwelllhg Unit Struo <br /> lures <br /> Three or more dwelling unit structures shall <br /> contain at least three (3) habitable rooms, as <br /> defined by th.e State Building Code, and the <br /> overall dimensions shall contain the following <br /> minimum floor areas, exclusive of garages, per <br /> unit: <br /> 1) 600 square feet for single floor units <br /> 2) 800 square feel for lwo story end multiple <br /> level units <br /> Eadh unit of any three or' more unit structures <br /> shall have an attached/detached garage with <br /> overa!l dimensions that contain not less than 240 <br /> square feet. <br /> Subd. 4 Efficiency Units. <br /> Efficiency units, as defined by the State <br /> Building Code, may be incorporated in er~y <br /> complex containing five (5) or more units but In <br /> no case shall the number of efficiency units <br /> comprise more than 20 percent of the total units· <br /> Each efficiency unit shall have an at- <br /> tached/detached garage with overall dimensions <br /> that contain not less than 240 square feet. <br /> SECTION 2. REPEAL ~ <br /> Section 170.0151(6)VIII, (A) of the City Code, <br /> Ordinance #74-0 passed on the tlth day of <br /> December, 1974 and Ordinance 880-6 passed on <br /> the 16th day of June, 1980 are all hereby <br /> repealed. <br /> SECTION 3. Bodley, being duly sworn, on oath says'he is and during all the times herein stated <br />has been the managing editor of the newspaper known as the Anoka County Union and has <br />full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows: (1) Said newspaper is printed in the <br />English language in newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed <br />space to at least 1200 square inches (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed once <br />each week for at least 50 weeks of each year. (3) Said newspaper, in at least half of its issues <br />each year, has no more than 75 per cent of its printed space comprised of advertising <br />material and paid legal notices; and in all of its issues each year, has 50 per cent of its news <br />columns devoted to news of local interest to the community it purports to serve, and not <br />more than 25 per cent of its total non-advertising column inches in any issue duplicates any <br />other publication. (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it <br />purports to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers and has <br />entry as second-class matter in its local post-office. (5) Said newspaper purports to serve <br />the City of Anoka in the County of Anoka and has its known office of issue in the City of Coon <br />Rapids in said county. (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately with the <br />State Historical Society. (6a) Said newspaper is made available at single or subscription <br />prices to any person, corporation, partnership, or other unincorporated association <br />requesting the newspaper and making the applicable payment. (7) Said newspaper has <br />complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least one year preceding the day or dates of <br />publication mentioned below.
