Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> The CIIy Council of the City of Ramsay does <br />hereby ordain: <br /> SECTION 1 AMENDMENT <br /> Section 10.095 entltl~'d Compensation <br />paragraph 3 shal be amqnd~d as follows: 10.095 C~mpensatlon · ' ' <br /> 3. Employees that do not receive overtime pay <br />shall receive compensatory time at a rate of one <br />and one'half hours for each hour worked as <br />approved by.,rlh~ CIly Adminlstr, alor or his! <br />designated representative. Compensatory time <br />shall be taken aS approved by the City <br />Administratofco~',hls designated representative <br />for periods of ~.[t~ti less than fWD hours. Any <br />employee wllh accrued compensatory time in <br />excess of 80 hours may elect to receive payment <br />for said excess ho0rs, or any part thereof, by <br /> naklng wrltter~ application to the City . <br /> ~mlnistrator pri~r to the end of the pay period <br /> the first payday in December. Payment for <br />said compensatory time in excess of 80 hours <br />shall be computed at 75% of the employees <br />cur'rent rate of pay. No employee shall accrue <br />compensatory time in excess of 520 hours. Bodley, being duly sworn, on oath sayshe is and during all the times herein stated <br />has been the managing editor of the newspaper known as the Anoka County Union and has <br />full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows: (1) Said newspaper is printed in the <br />English language in newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed <br />space to at least 1200 square inches (2) Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed once <br />each week for at least 50 weeks of each year. (3) Said newspaper, in at least half of its issues <br />each year, has no more than 75 per cent of its printed space comprised of advertising <br />material and paid legal notices; and in all of its issues each year, has 50 per cent of its news <br />columns devoted to news of local interest to the community it purports to serve, and not <br />more than 25 per cent of its total non-advertising column inches in any issue duplicates any <br />other publication, (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near the municipality which it <br />purports to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying subscribers and has <br />entry as second-class matter in its local post-office. (5) Said newspaper purports to serve <br />the City of Anoka in the County of Anoka and has its known office of issue in the City of Coon <br />Rapids in said county. (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately with the <br />State Historical Society. (6a) Said newspaper is made available at single or subscription <br />prices to any person, corporation, partnership, or other unincorporated association <br />requesting the newspaper and making the applicable payment. (7) Said newspaper has <br />complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least one year preceding the day or dates of <br />publication mentioned below.
