- 2 - <br /> <br />4. "Public Sewer" or "Municipal Sewer" shall mean the <br />municipal sewer system of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />5. "Industrial Wastes" shall mean the liquid wastes from <br />industrial processes as distinct from sanitary sewage. <br /> <br />6. "Sanitary Sewer" shall mean a sewer which carries sewage <br />and to which storm, surface and ground waters are not <br />intentionally admitted. <br /> <br />7. "City" shall mean City of Ramsey or its duly appointed <br />agents or representatives. <br /> <br />8. "Person" shall mean any individual, firm, company, <br />association, society, corporation or group. <br /> <br />9. "Individual Sewage Disposal System" shall mean a sewage <br />disposal system other than a public or municipal system which <br />receives sewage from an individual establishment. <br /> <br />10. "Designated Low Lots" shall mean lots which because of <br />elevation were designated to receive sanitary sewer service <br />by means of an individual house lift pump unit. The address <br />and legal description of these designated lots shall be kept <br />on file at City Hall. <br /> <br />210.022 Operation, Records and Inspection. <br /> <br />1. The City shall provide for the proper operation and <br />maintenance of the municipal water system and the municipal <br />sanitary sewer system and shall see that all rules and <br />regulations pertaining to the same are complied with. <br /> <br />2. The City shall keep a careful and complete record of the <br />exact location and size of all parts of the municipal water <br />and sewer systems, connections thereto, and other <br />measurements or records which may be necessary. <br /> <br />3. The City shall superintend all connections for service, <br />and examine all service pipes and see that they are properly <br />laid, and that all meters are properly installed and <br />operating. The City also shall have charge of inspecting the <br />premises entered by service pipes, examining the condition of <br />all water and sewer fixtures, and shall warn against all <br />abuses of the municipal water and sewer systems. <br /> <br />210.023 Applications for Service. <br /> <br />1. Any property owner desiring to connect a dwelling, <br />building, or other structure to the municipal water or <br />sanitary sewer systems shall apply therefore on a form <br /> <br /> <br />
