PRINTER'S AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #85-1 <br /> <br /> CITYOF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AMENDMENT TO Chapter 210.01 which is <br />known as Ihe "Street Assessment" Chapter of <br />the City Code of Ramsay, Minnesota. <br /> An Ordinance amending Chapter 210.01 of the <br />City Code of Ramsay, Minnesota. <br /> The City Council of the City of Ramsay hereby <br />ordains: <br /> Section I. Amendment <br /> Section 210.028 Meters. is amended by. the <br />addition of the following paragraphs: <br /> 13) The CIty of Ramsey §hall insure that every <br />customer and user of city water Is provided with <br />a 3/4" Water meter Upon request and 'payment of <br />a meter deP0Slt as set by Cliy Council resolution. <br />Individuals requiring meters larger than 3/;¢, <br />shall notify the City of their needs and shall pay <br />the dlt~l'erence In cost between fha 34" rqeter and <br />the larger meter. <br /> a) No person other than an empJoyee of the <br />City or a licensed master plumber shall install a <br />meter. <br /> b) NO customer or user of City water shall b~ <br />provided with water unless siuch meter has been <br />installed. · <br /> c) Remote readers shall be installed with each <br />.meters al a location.approved by the City of <br />Ramsay. <br />' 14) Every water reeler shall be sealed by an <br />employee of the City at the time of installation; <br />and at any tlm, e Ihereafter where the seal has <br />been brokeri. <br /> a) No person ~hall break or remove said seal, <br />provided how,ever~ that a licensed plvmber may <br />break said seal for the purpqse of making <br />necessary repairs but only after proper <br />notification to the City of Ramsay. <br /> b) Any broken seal or removed water meter <br />shall be r, eporled to the City within 24 hours of <br />such action, or as soon as discovered. <br />Section 3.
