The Cit. y of Ramsay Ordains: Section 1. Authority The City of R~amsey is authorized by Min- nesota Statutes, Sections 444.16 through 444.21 (the Act) to establish storm sewer improve- -ment tax districts fo~ the pdrposes of construc- ting and financing storm sewers and related-fa- cilities.' · Section2. Findings , The City hereby finds and determines that it is hecessary and desirable for th~ health· safety and welfare of its residents and for the proper control of storm drainage and flooding in the Ci- ty to use the authority contained in the Act to establish a storm sower impro¥~ement tax ,; district (the District). The put,se of the DistriCt shall be to finance through.a tax the cost of acquisi?on, construction, reconstruction, extension, maintenance and other improve- ments to storm ~wer ~ystems and related facil- ities within the District as prescribed in the Act.
