<br /> SEWER .IMPROVEMENT TAX D'ISTRICT IN
<br /> THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY,

<br /> The Cit. y of Ramsay Ordains:
<br /> Section 1. Authority
<br /> The City of R~amsey is authorized by Min-
<br /> nesota Statutes, Sections 444.16 through 444.21
<br /> (the Act) to establish storm sewer improve-
<br /> -ment tax districts fo~ the pdrposes of construc-
<br /> ting and financing storm sewers and related-fa-
<br /> cilities.'
<br /> · Section2. Findings
<br /> , The City hereby finds and determines that it
<br /> is hecessary and desirable for th~ health· safety
<br /> and welfare of its residents and for the proper
<br /> control of storm drainage and flooding in the Ci-
<br /> ty to use the authority contained in the Act to
<br /> establish a storm sower impro¥~ement tax
<br /> ,; district (the District). The put,se of the
<br /> DistriCt shall be to finance through.a tax the
<br /> cost of acquisi?on, construction, reconstruction,
<br /> extension, maintenance and other improve-
<br /> ments to storm ~wer ~ystems and related facil-
<br /> ities within the District as prescribed in the Act.
<br /> The City COuncil further finds: (1) that those
<br /> pro~rti~s o~the City legally described in Sec-
<br /> t on 4 herei0~h~ve'a ready e~tabJisbed and paid
<br /> for storm'r~wb~ improvements and that it is in-
<br /> ~uitable"to include these properties in the
<br /> Drainage District at this time; and (2] that it is
<br /> equitable.to include into the Drainage District
<br /> the properties excluded in Section 4 herein after
<br /> a ~r od'of..~.ige (5) years from the date hereof.
