170.077.3 <br /> <br />170.078 <br /> <br />170.078.1 <br /> <br />170.078.2 <br /> <br />170.079 <br /> <br />170.079.1 <br /> <br />170.079.2 <br /> <br />170.0710 <br /> <br />170.0710.1 <br /> <br />170.0710.11 <br /> <br />Any public or private supply of water for domestic purposes <br />must conform to Minnesota Department of Health Standards for <br />water quality and the administrative procedures of other <br />applicable local ordinances. <br /> <br />PLACEMENT OF STRUCTURES <br /> <br />Structures proposed within a flood plain area shall be consistent <br />with all flood plain management regulations of Ramsey. <br /> <br />No structure shall be placed on any slope greater than 12% <br />(12 feet vertical rise in 100 feet horizontal distance) unless <br />such structures can be screened, sewage disposal facilities can <br />be installed so as to comply with the sanitary provisions of <br />Section 170.077 of this ordinance, and the permit applicant can <br />prove to the Zoning Authority that any potential erosion or sedi- <br />mentation problems related to locating such a structure either <br />do not exist, or that adequate measures will be taken to prevent <br />such problems through special construction methods. <br /> <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAND <br /> <br />No land shall be subdivided which is determined by the City of <br />Ramsey, or the Commissioner of Natural Resources, to be unsuitable <br />by reason of flooding, inadequate drainage, soil and rock forma- <br />tions with severe limitations for development, severe erosion <br />potential, unfavorable topography, inadequate water supply or <br />sewage treatment capabilities or any other feature likely to be <br />harmful to the health, safety, or welfare of the future residents <br />of the proposed subdivision or the community. Soil percolation <br />rate tests and soil borings shall be required on each proposed <br />subdivision within the Rum Scenic River Land Use District, to <br />establish the suitability of the land for development. Such <br />testing is required before any final plat may be approved, but <br />may be waived by the Zoning Administrator when adequate data is <br />already available. <br /> <br />Planned Unit or Cluster Developments may be allowed in the Scenic <br />River Land Use District if preliminary plans are first approved <br />by the Commissioner of Natural Resources and the applicable pro- <br />visions of Minnesota Regulations NR 78-84 pertaining to such <br />development are satisfied, and the Ramsey City Code is satisfied. <br /> <br />LANDSCAPE ALTERATIONS <br /> <br />Vegetative Cutting <br /> <br />The vegetative cutting provisions of Section 170.0710.12 shall <br />apply to those areas as specified in Sections 170.076.110, <br />170.076.28, and 170.076.33 of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />-10- <br /> <br /> <br />
