<br /> 7. A list of the names and addresses of all neigh-
<br /> bors within 350 feet of the proposed kennels.
<br /> '8. An agreement by the applicant that 'the
<br /> premises may be inspected by the Ramsay Zoning
<br /> Officer at any reasonable time. .
<br /> . . The RamseycitY Couneil shall'have'the discretion'
<br /> whether to ssue such a permit or not. In making
<br /> such determination, the Coun..cil shall take into
<br /> consideration.the adequacy of housing and runs for
<br /> the animals, the methods used for sanitation and to
<br /> maintain quiet, facilities for containing the animals
<br /> and whether or not there have been numerous
<br /> previous violations bf this ordinance by .the owne~;.
<br /> If a permit is grant.ed and the applicant thereafte~
<br /> fails to comply with the statements made in the
<br /> appl cat on or cont nuously viole~tes 0thpr provis'ions
<br /> of this ordinance, the·permit holder' she be notified
<br /> by the Zoning Officer and given ten days to remedy
<br /> any defau ts'or defects. If such condiHons are not
<br /> remedied within the ten days, a hearing shall be held
<br /> by the City Council to determine Whether the permit
<br /> shall be revoked. Such hearing shall be held after at
<br /> least ten days mailed notice to the permit holder. If
<br /> · shall appear that siad k~nnel is not-being proper[y.
<br /> maintained, the Council may revoke the kenn~eJ
<br /> permit and the Owner must immediately adjust the
<br /> number of animals kept on ..the pre.raises to that
<br /> · stated previously in this section.
<br /> SECTION 2~ PENALTY . · .
<br /> Any person, firm or corporation violating any
<br /> provisions of this 0rdina.'n~e is guilty of a
<br /> misdemeanor and upon Conviction th'ereof shall ber
<br /> punished by a fine of not more than $300:00 or ir~'~
<br /> prlsonment in the city or county jail for not mote
<br /> than 90 days or both. Each day such a violation
<br /> committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a
<br /> separate offense and shall be punishable as such
<br /> hereunder.
<br /> SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE· '
<br /> This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
<br /> and after its passage and publication.

<br />at the City Hall that if the dog is r~ot claimed within
<br />five (5) days of the posting of the notice, it will be
<br />disposed of.
<br /> All dogs or animals of a dog kind conveyed to the
<br />dog pound shall be kept, with kind'fl'~atment and
<br />sufficient food and water for their comfort, at least
<br />.five (5) days, unless sooner reclaimed by their
<br />owners or keepers, as herein provided. In case the
<br />owner or. keeper shall desire to recla ~ the said dog
<br />or animal of a dog kind from the dog pound, the
<br />.following shall be required, unless otherwise
<br />provided for in this ordinance:
<br /> 1., Payment of a Five ($5.00) Dollar release fee,
<br />and
<br /> 2. Maintenance costs of Three ($3.00) Dollars per
<br />day or any part of day while dog or animal of a dog
<br />kind is in said pound, and
<br /> 3. If dog or animal of a dog ki~d is unlicensed,
<br />payment of a regular license fee and valid certificale
<br />of vaccination for rabies and distam~er shols Is
<br />required.
<br /> d. Section 9 of Ordinance 73-6 is hereby amended
<br />such that the first sentence of the first paragraph
<br />reads as follows:
<br /> At the expiration of five (5) days from the time any
<br />dog or animal of a dog kind is impounded, if the same
<br />has not been reclaimed in accordance with the
<br />provisions of this ordinance, the officer, appointed to
<br />enforce this ordinance, may let any person claim
<br />said dog or animal of a dog kind by complying with
<br />all provisions of this ordinance, including Section 8,
<br />or he may sell the dog o'r animal of a dog kind to the
<br />University of Minnesota, or he may cause such dog
<br />or animal of a docj kind to be killed and shall properly
<br />dispose of the remains thereof.
<br /> e. Section 14of Ordinance 73-6 is hereby amended
<br />to read as follows:
<br /> SECTION 14. DISEASE CONTROL
<br /> A. All dog, and cats kept harbored, maintained or
<br />transported within the City of Ramsey are required
<br />to be vaccinated at least once evm'y lwo years by a
<br />licensed veterinarian for:
<br /> a. Rabies---with a live modified vaccine.
<br /> b. Distemper
<br /> A terrific'ate of vaccination must be kept on which
<br />is stated the date of vaccination, owners name and
<br />address, the animals name (if applicable),, sex,
<br />description and weight,.fl'ie type of vaccipe and the
<br />veterinarians signature.' - '
<br /> B. Upon demand made by.the Clerk, th-e ~wner'
<br />shall present for examination the requii~ed <:er.

<br />Where certificates are not presehled, the owner or
