<br /> ANORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
<br />73-SWHICH IS KNOWN AS "AN ORDINANCE TO
<br />REGULATE THE. LOCATION, HEIGHT, BULK,
<br />SIZE OF STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF YARDS
<br />AND OTHER OPEN SPACES, THE DENSITY OF
<br />POPULATION AND THE USE OF LAND AND
<br />BUILDINGS FOR RESIDENCE, TRADE, IN-
<br />DUSTRY, RECREATION AND OTHER AC-
<br />TIVITIES BY ESTABLISHING STANDARDS AND
<br />PROCEDURES REGULATION SUCH USES TO
<br />HELP PROMOTE THE PUBLIC HEALTH,
<br />SAFETY AND GENERAL WELFARE" BY
<br />AMENDING A CERTAIN ZONING DISTRICT AS
<br />SHOWN ON THE CITY OF RAMSEY ZONING
<br />MAP.
<br /> The City Council, City of Ramsay, ordains:
<br />SECTION 1.
<br /> TheCIty of Ramsey Zoning Map as promulgated in
<br />Section 2.1 of City of Ramsay Ordinance No. 73-5 is
<br />hereby amended to reflect the following Zoning
<br />District change:
<br /> The following legally described property shell be
<br /> Iccated in the C.I Conservation classification:
<br /> The East 300 feet of the West 1210 feet of the
<br /> North 481.82 feel of the Northwest V4 of the
<br /> Ncrthwest ~/4 of Section 36, Township 32, Range
<br /> 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, said distances
<br /> being measured parallel with the North and West
<br /> tines of said Northwest V4 of the Northwest %
<br /> AND that part of said Northwest V4 of the Nor-
<br /> lhwest V4 described as follows:
<br /> Comr~encing at a point on the north line of said
<br /> Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest V4 distant 1210 feet
<br /> East from the Northwest corner of said Nor-
<br /> thwest V4 of the Northwest %; thence South and
<br /> parallel with the West line of said Northwest V4 of
<br /> the Northwesl V4 a distance of 77.30 feet; thence
<br /> Northeasterly in a straight line to a point on the
<br /> North line of said Northwest V4 of the Northwest
<br /> V4 distant 41.47 feet East from the point of
<br /> commencemenl; thence West along said North
<br /> line a distance of 41.47 feet to the point of com-
<br /> mef~ceme~t. AND that part of the South V2 of the
<br /> Southwest V4 of Section 25, Township 32, Range
<br /> 25, Anoke County, Minnesota described as
<br /> folJows: Commencing at a point on the South tine
<br /> of said 5outh V2 of the Southwest ~/4 distant 910
<br /> feet East, as measured along said South line
<br /> from the Southwest corner of said South ~/2 of the
<br /> Southwest ~/4; thence Northeasterly in a straight
<br /> line and its extension Northeasterly, which
<br /> extension would intersect a point on the North
<br /> llne of said South V2 of the Southwest V4 distant
<br /> 1600.0 feet East, as measured along said North
<br /> line~ from the Northwest corner of said South-
<br /> west V4 for a distance of 791.16 feet; thence
<br /> Soofheasterly at right angles fo last course a
<br /> distance of 300 feet; thence Southwesterly at
<br /> right angles to last course a distance of 716.05
<br /> feet, more or less, to ifs intersection with the
<br /> South line of said South V2 of the Southwest %;
<br /> thence Westerly along said Soulh line a distance
<br /> of 341.47 feet to the point of commencement.

<br />That parrot the Norlhwest ~/4 of the Northwest V,~
<br />of Section 36, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka
<br />County, Minnesota lying Northerly of the can-
<br />recline of County Road No. 57 as now laid out and
<br />travelled and excepting
<br />THAT PART OF THE East 220 feet of the West
<br />66~feet of the Northwest V4 of the Northwest V4 of
<br />Section 36, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka
<br />County, Minnesota lying Northerly of the can-
<br />feHineof County Road No. 57 as it is now la Id out
<br />ard travelled across said Northwest V4 of the
<br />Northwest V.~ which lies Southerly of the North
<br />
<br /> 481.82 feet of said East 220 feet of the West 660
<br /> fe~t; end excepting all that part of the said
<br /> Northwest ]/4of the Northwest ~/4 lying Northerly
<br /> of the centerline of County Road No. 57 as it is
<br /> nov laid out and travelled which lies Easterly of
<br /> the West 910.00 feet thereof; and excepting that

<br /> Commencing et a point on the South line of said

<br /> East, es measured along said South line, from
<br /> the Southwest corner of said South V2 of the
<br /> Southwest 1/4; thence Northeasterly in a straight
<br /> line to a point on the North line of said South V~ of
<br /> the Southwest ~/4 distant 1600.00 feet East, as
<br /> m~esured along said North line, from the Nor-
<br /> thwest corner of said Southwest V4 and there
<br /> tsmninating.
<br /> SECTION 3. COMPLIANCE. F~o structure shall be
<br />lecaled, erected, constructed, reconstructed, moved~
<br />altered, converted, or enlarged; nor shall any
<br />structure or land be used or be designed to be used,
<br />except in ful[ compliance with all the provisions of
<br />this Ordinance and after the lawful issuance of all
<br />permits and certificates required by this Ordinance.
<br /> SECTION 4. ENFORCEMENT PENALTIES. Any
<br />violation of this Ordinance may be enjoined by the
<br />City Council through proper legal channels and any
<br />persia, firm, partnership or corporation who
<br />violates this Ordinance shell be guilty of a
<br />misdemeanor upon conviction thereof be punished
<br />by a fine not to exceed three hundred dolJars
<br />($3~0.00) or by imprisonment for not to exceed ninety
<br />(90) days, or both for each offense. Each day a
<br />violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a
<br />separate offense.
<br /> SECTION 5. ENFORCEMENT REMEDIES. In
<br />case any building, structure~ or land is, or is
<br />proposed fo be, erected, constructed, reconstructed,
<br />altered, convertod~ maintained or used in violation of
<br />fhisOrdinance, the City Council, in addition J'o other
<br />remedies, may institute in the name of the City of
<br />Ramsay any appropriate action or proceeding to
<br />prevent, restrain, correct or abate such building,
<br />strudure or land, or to prevent, in or about such
<br />premises, any act, conduct, business or use con.
<br />stituting a violation.
<br /> SECTION 6. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance
<br />shall become effective upon its adoption and
<br />publication according to law.
<br /> PASSED by the Ramsey City Council this 25th day
<br />of August, 1975.
