<br /> ANORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
<br />73-SWHICH IS KNOWN AS "AN ORDINANCE TO
<br />REGULATE THE LOCATION, HEIGHT, BULK,
<br />SIZE OF STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF YARDS
<br />AND OTHER OPEN SPACES, THE DENSITY OF
<br />POPULATION AND THE USE OF LAND AND
<br />BUILDINGS FOR RESIDENCE, TRADE, IN-
<br />DUSTRY, RECREATION AND OTHER AC-
<br />TIVITIES BY ESTABLISHING STANDARDS AND
<br />PROCEDURES REGULATING SUCH USES TO
<br />HELP PROMOTE THE PUBLIC HEALTH,
<br />SAFETY AND GENERAL WELFARE" BY
<br />AMENDING A CERTAIN ZONING DISTRICT AS
<br />SHOWN ON THE CITY OF RAMSEY ZONING
<br />MAP.
<br /> The City Council, City of Ramsay, ordains:
<br /> SECTION 1.
<br /> The City Of Ramsay Zoning Map as promulgated in
<br />Section 2.1 of Cily of Ramsay Ordinance No. 73.5 is
<br />hereby amended to reflect the following Zoning
<br />Dish'icl change:
<br /> Thetollowing legally described property shall be
<br /> located in the R-1 Suburban Residential Zoning
<br /> Dislrict:
<br /> That part of Audilor's Subdivision Number 96,
<br /> Anoka County, Minnesota, within the Cily of
<br /> Ramsay described as follows:
<br /> B(~jinning at the Southwest corner of Lot 3, said
<br /> Auditor's Subdivision Number 96; thence North
<br /> along the West line of said Lot 3 to the Northwest
<br /> comer thereof; thence East along the North line
<br /> of said Lot 3 to the Northeast corner thereof;
<br /> thence North along the West line of Lot 4 of said
<br /> Auditor's Subdivision to the Northwest corner of
<br /> said Lot 4; thence Las1 along the North line of
<br /> said Lot 4 to the Northeasl corner thereof;
<br /> thonce South along the Wesl line of Lot 5 of said
<br /> Auditor's Subdivision to the Southwest corner
<br /> thereof; thence East along the South line of said

<br /> and Of record in the office of the Register of
<br /> Deeds, Anoka County, Minnesota, thence South.
<br /> westerly along the Northwesterly line of said
<br /> Poplar Drivea distance of 410.75 feet to the point
<br /> of beginning of a line to be described; thence
<br /> Norlhwesterly to a point on the Northerly ex-
<br /> tension of the West line of Dickenson's
<br /> M~,sissippi Estates distanl 219.6 feet North from
<br /> the Northwest corner of Lot 1 of said plat,
<br /> hereinafter known as Line "A"
<br /> thence Southeasterly along said Line "A", to a
<br /> point of intersection with a line parallel with and
<br /> distant ~0 feet Northwesterly of the Nor-
<br /> thwesterly line of Tungsten Street Northwest;
<br /> thence Southwesterly on a line parallel with said
<br /> Tungsten Street lo the Northerly line of Rivlyn
<br /> Avenue; thence Southeasterly along the Nor-
<br /> therl¥ line of said Rivlyn Avenue to the in-

<br /> said Rivlyn Avenue; thence Easterly to a point
<br /> on the Southerly extension of the Easterly line of
<br /> Lo~ 13 of said Auditor's Subdivision distant
<br /> feet Southwesterly of the Southeasterly corner of
<br /> Said Lot 13; thence Easterly at an interior angle
<br /> tothe Northeast of 91 degrees, 30' as measured
<br /> from the Southerly extension of the Easterly line
<br /> ofsaJd Lot 13 for a distance of 427.] feet; thence
<br /> Southwesterly to an angle point in the Northerly
<br /> and Easterly lineof that road purposes easement
<br /> recorded in Book 692 of Deeds, page 223, Register
<br /> of Deeds Office, Anoka County, Minnesota, said
<br /> angle point is beiween the two bearings North 81
<br /> degrees 41' West and North 4 degrees 19' West;
<br /> thence South 4 degrees 19' East along said
<br /> Easterly line of said 66 foot road purposes
<br /> easement to fha intersection with the Northerly
<br /> bank of a channel of the Mississippi River;
<br /> thence Westerly a nd Northwesterly following the
<br /> Norlhedy bank of said channel and Northerly
<br /> bank of the Mississippi River to the point of
<br /> beginning.
<br /> SECTION 2. COMPLIANCE. No structure shall be
<br />located, erected, constructed, reconstructed, moved,
<br />altered, converted, or enlarged; nor shall any
<br />structure or land be used or be designed to be used,
<br />except in full compliance with all the provisions of
<br />this Ordinance and after the lawful issuance of all
<br />permits and certificates required by this Ordinance.
<br /> SECTION 3. ENFORCEMENT PENALTIES. Any
<br />violation of this Ordinance may be enjoined by the
<br />City Council through proper legal channels and any
<br />person, firm, partnership or corporation who
<br />violates this Ordinance shall be guilty of a
<br />misdemeanor upon conviction thereof be punished
<br />by a fine not to exceed three hundred dollars
<br />($,300.00) orby imprisonment for not to exceed ninety
<br />(90) days, or both for each offense. Each day a
<br />violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a
<br />separate offense,
<br /> SECTION 4. enforcement remedies, in case any
<br />building, structure, or land is, or is proposed to be,
<br />ereded, constructed, reconstructed, altered, con-
<br />vetted, maintained or used in violation of this Or-
<br />dinance, the City Council, in addition to other
<br />remedies, may instilufe in the name of the City of
<br />Ramsay any appropriate action or proceeding fo
<br />prevent, restrain, correct or abate such building,
<br />slrudure or land, or to prevent, in or about such
<br />premises, any act, conduct, business or use con-
<br />sti~ting a violation.
<br /> SECTION 5. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance
<br />shall become effective upon its adoption and
<br />publication according to law.
<br />PASSED by the Ramsay City Council this 28 day of
<br />Ju~y, 1975.
