<br />    ANORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
<br />13.SWHICH IS KNOWN AS "AN ORDINANCE TO
<br />REGULATE THE LOCATION, HEIGHT, BULK,
<br />SIZE OF STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF YARDS
<br />ANDOTHER OPEN SPACES, THE DENSITY OF
<br />POPULATION AND THE USE OF LAND AND
<br />DUILOINGS FOR RESIDENCE, TRADE, IN-
<br />DUSTRY, RECREATION AND OTHER AC-
<br />TIVITIES BY ESTABLISHING STANDARDS AND
<br />PROCEDURES REGULATING SUCH USES TO
<br />HELP PROMOTE THE PUBLIC HEALTH,
<br />SAFETY AND GENERAL WELFARE" BY
<br />AMENDING A CERTAIN ZONING DISTRICT AS
<br />SHOWN ON THE CITY OF RAMSEY ZONING
<br />MAP.
<br /> The City Council, City of Ramsey, ordains:
<br /> SECTION 1.
<br />    TheCity of Ramsay Zoning Map as promulgated in
<br />Section 2.1 of the City of Ramsay Ordinance No. 73-5
<br />is h~'eby amended to reflect the following Zoning
<br />District change:
<br /> Thefol lowing legally described property shall be
<br /> located in lhe B-2 General Business Zoning
<br /> District:
<br />     That part of lhe Northwest one-quarter of the
<br /> Southwest one.quarler of Section 24, Township
<br /> 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota,
<br /> described as follows:
<br />     Commencing at the Northwest corner of said
<br /> Norlhwesl quarter of the Southwest quarter;
<br /> thence East on the Norlh line thereof for a
<br /> distance of 870 feet to the Weslerly line of public
<br /> road nowknown as State Highway No. 47; thence
<br /> South 25 degrees East along the said Westerly
<br /> line of said public road for a distance of 165.50
<br /> feet to the actual point of beginning of the lract to
<br /> be described;
<br /> thence West and parallel with the said North line
<br /> of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest
<br /> quarter for a distance of 939.9 feet to the West
<br /> line of said Northwest quarter of the Southwest
<br /> quarter; thence South along said West line of the

<br /> 40seconds East, along the East line of said N-V2
<br /> of SE-V,~, a distance of 489.03 feet, and to the point
<br /> of beginning of said line to be herein described;
<br /> fh~qce South 89 degrees, 52 minutes, 33 seconds
<br /> West, parallel with the South line of said N-¥2 of
<br /> SE-V4, to the center line of sa id County State Aid
<br /> Highway No. 5, as same was laid out and
<br /> traveled on January 17, 1963, and there ter-
<br /> minatlng.
<br />    SECTION 2. COMPLIANCE. NO structure shall be
<br />located, erected, constructed, reconstructed, moved,
<br />altered, converted, or enlarged, nor shall any
<br />structure or land be used or be designed to be used,
<br />exc~t in full compliance with all the provisions of
<br />this Ordinance and after the lawful issuance of all
<br />permits and certificates required by this Ordinance.
<br />    SECTION 3. ENFORCEMENT PENALTIES. Any
<br />violation of this Ordinance may be enjoined by the
<br />City Council through proper legal channels and any
<br />person, firm, partnership or corporation who
<br />violates this Ordinance shall be guilty of a
<br />misdemeanor upon conviction thereof be punished
<br />by a fine not to exceed three hundred dollars
<br />($300.00) or by imprisonment, for not to exceed
<br />ninety (90) days, or both for each offense. Each d ay a
<br />violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a
<br />separate offense.
<br />    SECTION 4. ENFORCEMENT REMEDIES. In
<br />case any building, structure, or land is, or is
<br />proposed to be, erected, constructed, reconstructed,
<br />altered, converted, maintained or used in violation of
<br />thisOrdinance, the City Council, in addition to other
<br />remedies, may institute in the name of the City of
<br />Ramsay any appropriate action or proceeding to
<br />prevent, restrain, correct or abate such building,
<br />structure or land, or to prevent, in or about such
<br />premises, any act, conduct, business or use con-
<br />stihJ~ing a violation.
<br />    SECTION 5. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance
<br />shall become effective upon its adoption and
<br />publication according to law.
<br />    PASSED by the Ramsay City Council this 28 day of
<br />July, 1975.
