<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #23-275 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT AND WAIVER OF OBJECTIONS TO <br />ASSESSMENT FOR REMEDIAL MEASURES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council approved the Abatement Agreement for 14501 Sunfish <br />Lake Boulevard NW at its regular meeting of December 13, 2022; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the time of approval, a Resolution was not assigned; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, to certify to property taxes for year payable 2024, an adopted resolution is <br />required by Anoka County; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, for taxes payable 2024, the certified assessment will be $3,903.74 which <br />includes the cost of said abatement - $3,596.22, $35.00 administrative fee, plus 6% interest <br />($272.52) through December 31, 2024; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is willing to levy such costs to the aforementioned property. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The City Council hereby approves the assessment of up to $3,903.74 to be certified to <br />Anoka County for taxes payable 2024. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
