EXHIBIT "B" <br /> FIELD MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT <br /> 1. The Parks and Recreation Department (City) shall create and maintain all necessary turf areas on the <br /> fields to include mowing, fertilizing, herbicide treatment and irrigation. <br /> 2. The City shall perform all pre-season turf maintenance to include ag lime, sand, soil, etc. to be <br /> used in leveling or backfilling low areas when deemed necessary. <br /> 3. The City shall maintain all goals, fences, bleachers and gates in a safe and secure condition. <br /> 4. The school shall inspect the playfield and appurtenances to ensure conditions are safe for use; and <br /> prohibit play if any concerns are noted. The school shall notify the City promptly upon discovery of <br /> an unsafe condition. <br /> 5. The City shall provide and maintain all area and field lighting systems (when applicable). <br /> 6. The City shall be responsible for the maintenance of any irrigation system and watering schedules of <br /> turf areas. <br /> 7. The School shall be responsible for daily school day policing of all litter on the field(s) used by the <br /> School to include playing areas, dugouts, fences, backstops, bleachers, and adjacent grounds. All litter <br /> shall be disposed of in the School's dumpster, unless receptacles have been provided by the City. This <br /> litter policing shall include any restrooms or facilities used by the School. <br /> 8. There will be no storage of any equipment at the Park. <br /> 9. The School shall be prohibited from performing any maintenance to any turf or field areas without <br /> written permission from the City. <br /> 10. Nothing in this agreement shall prevent or dissuade the School from collaborating with the City on <br /> athletic field investments and improvements, like the on-going collaboration between the City and the <br /> Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association. E.g. the City may agree to core aerate the School's football field <br /> with City forces and equipment, following the School's application of topdressing on its football field <br /> and any athletic field in the Park. <br /> 11. The School shall submit requests for field use and athletic field maintenance on the City of <br /> Ramsey's on-line reservation system before the start of each season for games and practices. <br /> 12. Further, the dated annual Addendum referenced in paragraph XXII of the FIELD USE AND <br /> LIMITED CROSS-PARKING AGREEMENT may supersede details in this FIELD <br /> MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT,or prescribe additional maintenance activity between the City and <br /> the School. E.g. the intention of the City to sweep parking lots at the School annually, at the time the <br /> Park driveways and parking lots are swept in the Spring. <br /> 8 <br />
