Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #23-283 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPOINT A PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSIONER DUE <br /> TO A VACANCY <br /> WHEREAS,there is a current vacancy on the Park and Recreation Commission due to the <br /> resignation of Mr. Justin Loss; and <br /> WHEREAS, the vacancy was discussed at the October 24, 2023 work session; and <br /> WHEREAS by consensus, the City Council recommended appointing Ms. Megan Ealain <br /> to fill the vacancy. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) Motion to Adopt Resolution#23-283 to do the following: <br /> a. Appoint Ms. Megan Ealain to a partial term on the Park and Recreation Commission, <br /> ending March 31, 2024. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br /> the 14th day of November, 2023. <br /> Mayor <br />
