ORDINANCE #23-20 <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY,MINNESOTA,AMENDING CHAPTER <br /> 26 LICENSES, PERMITS, AND MISCELLANIOUS BUSINESS REGULATIONS, <br /> ARTICLE XVI. TOBACCO, DIVISION 2. LICENSE <br /> The City Council of Ramsey ordains: <br /> SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br /> This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the Charter of the City of Ramsey. <br /> SECTION 2. AMENDMENT TO CITY CODE SECTION 26 <br /> Chapter 26,Article XVI, Division 2. In general, in the Ramsey City Code hereby amended <br /> Section 26-787 (6) <br /> ARTICLE XVI. TOBACCO <br /> Division 2.License <br /> Sec.26-787. Required; application; term. <br /> No person shall sell or offer to sell any tobacco, tobacco products, or tobacco-related <br /> device without first having obtained a license to do so from the city. <br /> (6) Location of business. No license shall be issued to a moveable place <br /> of business. Only fixed location businesses shall be eligible to be licensed under this <br /> article. Only one license may be issued for any given location or address. <br /> SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> This ordinance becomes effective 30 days after its passage and publication, subject to charter <br /> section 5.04. <br /> PASSED by the City Council of Ramsey, Minnesota, the 28th day of November,2023. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br />
