The bids ranged from a high <br /> of$8,768,848.98 to a low of$6,671,413.99. We have attached a detailed bid tabulation for your <br /> information. <br /> The project consists of installing trunk watermain on Bunker Lake Blvd, 143rd Ave and the trail through <br /> Cottonwood Park to bring raw water from wells 3, 5 and 8 to the new water treatment plant under <br /> construction. Approximately 7500 linear feet of raw watermain and 3600 linear feet of finished water will be <br /> installed by both open cut and horizontal direction drilling (HDD trenchless) methods. 143rd Ave will be <br /> completely reconstructed with the project and the trail restored. A new meter vault is included in the project <br /> as well as providing water services to the three well house buildings. Connections to existing City mains will <br /> be made at Ramsy Blvd and Bunker Lake Blvd at 143rd Ave. The City has obtained permits from Anoka <br /> County Highway Department for this work. (Refer to the attached page 2 of the plans for a summary of the <br /> project elements). This work is expected to be completed by November 15, 2024 <br /> Northdale Construction Company Inc. is the low bidder and has been working on sewer and water projects <br /> since 1964. Their HDD subcontractor is EBI.
