Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:
<br /> RESOLUTION#23-287
<br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT NO. 3 TO LANDALL SERVICES,
<br /> LLC. OF ZIMMERMAN, MINNESOTA FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #23-10;
<br /> WHISPERING PINES ESTATES PLAT 3 STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the
<br /> Whispering Pines Estates Plat 3 subdivision; and
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 422-251, adopted November
<br /> 71', 2022, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk, Inc., for
<br /> topographic survey of the project area; and
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 422-251, adopted November
<br /> 71', 2022, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Haugo Geotechnical Services
<br /> for a geotechnical report of the project area; and
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 422-289, adopted December
<br /> 13, 2022, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said
<br /> improvements; and
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution 423-146, adopted June 27,
<br /> 2023 the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer
<br /> and authorized advertisement for bid for said improvements; and
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 423-170, adopted on July 25,
<br /> 2023, a contract was awarded to Landall Services, LLC of Zimmerman, Minnesota, in the amount
<br /> of$533,248.00 for construction of said improvements; and
<br /> WHEREAS, as of November 28, 2023 $528,866.19 has been paid to date; and
<br /> WHEREAS, the Senior Engineering Technician has inspected the completed work and
<br /> recommends partial payment No. 3 to Landall Services, LLC of Zimmerman, Minnesota, for
<br /> improvement project 423-10, Whispering Pines Estates Plat 3 Street Reconstructions, in the
<br /> amount of$44,280.99.
<br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows:
<br /> 1) The City Council hereby authorizes partial payment No. 3 to Landall Services, LLC, of
<br /> Zimmerman, Minnesota for Improvement Project 423-10, Whispering Pines Estates Plat 3
<br /> Street Reconstructions in the amount of$44,280.99.
