Councihnember Zimmerman stated that the City currently has a lot of the pieces in place already, <br />but the ordinance would formalize the whole process by drawing a contract and putting the <br />developer on notice that if they don't develop what is in the agreement the rezoning could be <br />changed back and the developer Mil not be able to fight it. <br /> <br />The City Council directed staff to proceed with the conditional rezoning ordinance. <br /> <br />Councihnember Elvig inquired if there was anything the City should be looked at when the Met <br />Council adopts the 2030 plan. <br /> <br />Principal }?lanner Trudgeon replied that that would be a good idea. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that the City of Dayton is going to the Met Council requesting a <br />comprehensive plan amendment to eliminate the river bridge crossing.
