Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #23-310 <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2023, PAYABLE 2024, MUNICIPAL TAX LEVY <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the following levies for assessed 2023, payable 2024, be levied upon the taxable <br /> property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following <br /> purposes: <br /> GENERAL LEVY <br /> Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations <br /> Collected as Pavement Management Levy $1,844,733 <br /> Fiscal Disparity Transfer (as certified) 2,101,346 <br /> Collected as Property Tax—EDA Levy 87,390 <br /> Collected as Property Tax—General Levy 12,860,874 <br /> $ 16,894,343 <br /> DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br /> 2015 CIP Bonds: Fire Station 42 282,988 <br /> 2021 CIP Bond—Municipal Center 1,122,950 <br /> 2015 GO Road Improvement Bonds 117,293 <br /> 2014 Equipment Certificates 102,094 <br /> 2016 GO Road Improvement Bond 148,740 <br /> 2017 GO Road Improvement Bonds 93,335 <br /> 2018 GO Road Improvement Bonds 110,996 <br /> 2020 CIP Bond: Public Works Campus 127,276 <br /> 2022 GO Street Reconstruction Bond 1,090,950 <br /> 2023 Equipment Certificates 188,736 <br /> $3,385,358 <br /> TOTAL CERTIFIED LEVIES 20,279,701 <br /> 2) That this final levy does not exceed the Proposed Levy adopted September 26, 2023. <br /> 3) That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the $334,289 related to the $3,090,000 GO <br /> Refunding Bond, Series 201113, as per Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County. <br /> Anoka County is required to pay directly to the City, this debt service amount. <br />
