5. 18. <br /> CC Regular Session <br /> Meeting Date: 12/12/2023 <br /> PrimaryStrategic Plan Initiative: Identify and implement operational efficiencies,cost savings and additional <br /> g funding sources. <br /> Information <br /> Title <br /> Adopt Resolution#23-313 Approving ProjectDox Renewal Quote <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> The purpose of this case is to approve the renewal quote for the ProjectDox software utilized for electronic plan <br /> review by city staff. ProjectDox was originally implemented in 2017 under a 5-year agreement and was renewed <br /> in February 2022. <br /> In late 2022, staff began to research different electronic plan software, as the current software (PIMS/ProjectDox) <br /> is not meeting the needs for plan review. The new software,known as Accela,will be customized for the needs of <br /> individual departments and divisions. It is scheduled to be operational in January 2024; however, it will take <br /> additional time to complete the full build out of the software, customize the software for individual department <br /> needs, and conduct proper training. Because of the new software, ProjectDox renewal quote is for a term period <br /> of 6 months with the option, if needed,to extend it longer.
