<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #23-271 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 6 FOR IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT #23-03, ARMSTRONG BOULEVARD AND ALPINE DRIVE ROUNDABOUT <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-120 adopted May 24, <br />2022, the City of Ramsey entered into a Joint Powers Agreement to define the respective costs <br />and responsibilities of both parties for the proposed roundabout improvements at the intersection <br />of Alpine Drive and Armstrong Boulevard/County State Aid Highway 83; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, per the Joint Powers Agreement the City is responsible for paying for the <br />installation of roundabout lighting and an adequate electrical power source; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the lighting and an adequate electrical power source have been installed per <br />the approved construction plans and the City must now execute Change Order #6 in the amount <br />of $1,756.15 to pay for the lighting improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Engineer/Public Works Director to <br />execute Change Order No. 6 for Improvement Project #23-03, Armstrong Boulevard and <br />Alpine Drive Roundabout Improvements, for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Howell, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
