I I I Councilmember adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION #99 - 12 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING $1,250 DOLLARS TO BE USED FOR THE SECOND ANNUAL HOME IMPROVEMENT FAIR ON FEBRUARY 19, 2000. WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey participated in the April 1999 Home Improvement Fair; and WHEREAS, the City Council approved donating $1,500 for the April 1999 Home Improvement Fair; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received a refund from the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce in the amount of $1,038.25 after all the applicable bills were paid from the April 1999 Home Improvement Fair; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey staff is requesting approval to participate in the 2000 Home Improvement Fair; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is requesting that the Council allocate $1,250 dollars to fund a portion of the start up costs of the Anoka Area Home Improvement Fair; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey staff is requesting $1,250 dollars be allocated through the 1999 EDA Donations budget for the Home Improvement Fair. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City of Ramsey is hereby authorized to participate in the 2000 Home Improvement Fair. 2) That the City Council hereby authorize the allocation of $1,250 dollars from the 1999 EDA Donations budget to help fund a portion of the start up costs of the February 2000 Anoka Area Home Improvement Show.
