I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #99-12- RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF AN ADDITIONAL 60 DAY REVIEW PERIOD OF AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR A TEMPORARY OFFICE STRUCTURE FOR AMCOR PRECAST. WHEREAS, Amcor Precast has applied for an interim use permit for a temporary structure for the purposes of providing temporary office space on the property generally known as 6640 Industry Avenue N.W. and legally described as follows: The east Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, except that part thereof described,as follows: Commencing at the Northwest comer of said East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; thence South along the West line of the said East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter 409.44 feet to the point of beginning; thence East at right angles 11 feet; thence South at right angles 264 feet; thence West at right angles to the West line of said East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; thence North along said West line to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, an interim use permit for continued use of the 24' x 60' modular office structure was granted to Amcor Precast; and WHEREAS, said permit expired on June 1, 1999, and that the applicant is requesting continued use of the temporary office structure on the property until October 20, 2001, at which time a manufacturing facility and new office is scheduled to be completed; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on December 7, 1999, conducted the public hearing, and recommended to Council that the request be continued; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey determined it needs additional time to review and adopt new text supporting the processing and applications of interim use permits; and WHEREAS, the text amendment will require recommendation by the Planning Commission and action by the City Council. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: That based on findings of fact that the reviewal period for the requested application for an interim use permit be extended an additional 60 days.
