Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #99-12~XXX RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR SIX MONTHS FOR PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER BRIAN SWANSON WHEREAS, Brian Swanson began employment at the City of Ramsey on May I0, 1999, as a Public Works Maintenance Worker; and WHEREAS, in a review of performance on Tuesday, December 7, 1999, Mr. Swanson's supervisors have requested a 90-day extension on Brian Swanson's probationary period, effective December 14, 1999; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its December 14, 1999 meeting, agreed with the recommendation to extend Brian Swanson's probationary period for 90 days, effective December 14, 1999. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to extend the probationary period for Brian Swanson for 90 days effective December 14, 1999. 2) That following the 90-day extension, another performance review will be conducted addressing the concerns outlined in the December 1999 performance review. A recommendation on the status of the employee will be made to the Personnel Committee, to be forwarded to City Council for consideration The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: And the following voted against the same: And the following abstained: And the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of December 1999.
